Some suggestions when planning a trip with the kids:
- To ensure that your entire family has a good time, make sure
that you keep plans flexible and take plenty of rest breaks
- Include the kids in the planning, it will make
them feel like a real part of the vacation process. Let them pick
out one 'must see' attraction for them.

- Be sure to include some 'grown up' alone
time! Most resorts have child care services you can use. Ask your
Cruise N’ Vegas travel
agent for more information on resorts that will give you quality
family time as well as quality 'grown up' time.
- Bring plenty of extra clothes for the kids, so
when they get dirty, and they will, you have plenty of clean
clothing for them to change into.
- Pack plenty of activities like books, coloring
books and hand held games (with fully charged batteries) for the
airplane ride. Make sure that you have something to entertain
yourself as well.
- Be mindful of your child's schedule when
making reservations for airfare.
- Take snacks on the plane, because in today's
aviation world, several airlines will not even give you the
complimentary bag of peanuts.
- First aid kits are always a good thing to keep
on hand, no matter where you travel.
- Make sure to keep your child(ren) in sight at
all times. It is a good idea
to plan a 'meeting place' ahead of time in case you get separated
from your kids.
- Get disposable cameras so that the kids can
take their own pictures. You will get to see your family's vacation
from their eyes and they will often surprise you on the quality of
the pictures that they take.
- Give your kids an 'allowance' for souvenirs.
That way they have to learn to budget their money and the value of a
dollar.
